THE TASK
Ziller Electric is a leading online merchant for Home Standby Generators. Their site was outdated by a decade, and customers weren’t able to navigate an increasingly complex product catalog. I was tasked with revamping both their front-end and back-end eCommerce operation to increase sales and decrease team labor.
THE SOLVE
I moved them into a Shopify setup, completely rebuilt their storefront from the ground up, and trained their staff on running day-to-day operations through Shopify. The store is now capable of displaying all the different product offerings, and the efficiencies of the Shopify backend has cut staff worktime by over 50%.
THE OUTCOME
Since working with me, Ziller’s sales increased 50% year-over-year. Their search engine visibility and paid advertising has bumped away competitors and positioned Ziller as one of the best Generac distributors in the country.
